Baker College for Women, Kottayam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library that is a depository of books comprising a collection of over 2000 books and journals.  College library stimulates the students to obtain, evaluate, and recognize knowledge and to familiarize themselves with the trends of knowledge for further education and learning new disciplines. 

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college for women has a well-furnished computer lab with modern, equipped terminals loaded with high-end software about the curriculum. Students can make use of the internet and the intranet facility available in these labs on all working days. The computer lab is open to all students in the college during working hours.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

 Software generally on which practice sessions are going on, based on the curriculum, includes Microsoft, COBOL, Oracle 8i, MS-SQL Server, Visual Basic, Photoshop,  MS Office, JavaScript etc., Flash, Dreamweaver, etc.

Nature Club

The pursuit of Baker College for Women, Kottayam, towards a Green Culture, started on 17th March 2022, when Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy  Cherian, our Manager, planted an Aloe, symbolic of initiating a Nature Club in the College. "A plant for My College", is the program wherein students presented one plant each to their college on 6th June 2022 as part of World Environment Day celebrations 2022. On 16th June 2022, Principal Dr. Mini Chacko led an awareness Programme  titled " Towards a Greener Culture

EDP Club

The club undertakes several activities for student development, wherein the student gets corporate exposure while studying and develops a spirit of entrepreneurship. This enables student capability enhancement as well as their alignment with the Industry. This way, the EDP at one stroke creates a win-win model for students as well as the Industry.

The college has smart classrooms for all students.
