Balaji College of Education, Faridabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library is a sanctuary of knowledge. Its mission is to support the academic programs and promote educational excellence in the College by providing physical and intellectual access to information. The library has an updated collection of approximately 8000 books, which include a wide range of textual and reference materials falling in the discipline of education, viz. Theory, Policy Planning, Pedagogical concern and many more. There are some sets of complete works like those of Rabindra Nath Tagore, Sri Aurobindo, Indian culture, etc. Continuous efforts have been made for the last three years to enrich the library with different books in Hindi to facilitate students who come from the Hindi-speaking belt, like Haryana, U.P., Bihar, Rajasthan, etc. Apart from books, are library subscribes to a variety of popular magazines, journals and daily newspapers in Hindi & English. At the functional level, all attempts are made to acquaint the users with the library collection, different units of the library, the scheme of classification of books, shelf arrangement and methods to use the library catalogue.

The College is well equipped with different laboratories, namely the Curriculum Lab, Psychology Lab, and SUPW room, for the use of students under the supervision of respective teachers. There is a provision for a craft room also.

The college has kept the Pupil-teachers abreast with the latest technological developments in the field of Education. We have made computer education an integral part of the curriculum. The ICT laboratory is well versed with the latest computers, printers, and internet connectivity. The college provides free use of this facility to all students during the teaching hours. This facility has been added to the library with the purpose of getting instant access to any subject from any part of the world. This is of immense help to both the student as well as the faculty to get any updated information around the world. 

The college has First aid facilities available on the college campus. Students in need of further medical treatment will be taken to the nearest hospital, and parents/guardians will be informed. 

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The College has its own playground available for sports, which has a Volleyball court, football court, cricket pitch, badminton court with all other outdoor games, and the college has indoor games like carom, chess Board, table tennis, etc.

The college has intellectual activities are an important part of education, so we organize so many seminars and conferences, workshops and orientation programs at our Conference Hall. College has a conference hall with a capacity of 200 persons. 

The college has a transport facility for students and staff.

The College has well-ventilated, spacious classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids which makes learning a truly stimulating experience.

The college has a well-run canteen which provides food, snacks & beverages of all kinds at reasonable rates. It also provides all types of stationery required by students. A photocopying facility is available on payment.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility, which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility, which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.
