BDCE Wardha: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Bapurao Deshmukh College of Engineering, Wardha, was started in 1983. It is one of the premier institutions in Wardha and Maharashtra. This affiliated college has an area of 18.73 acres, offering various courses in Engineering and Management. BDCE, Wardha, has been proved for its quality education by getting it accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE. The institute has a total student enrolment of 1,366 and a faculty strength of 55, making it an apt environment for learning. BDCE Wardha offers specializations in various engineering disciplines and management studies through its 12 courses across 3 degree programs.

The college is fully equipped with all modern facilities to facilitate the growth of students both in academic and personal life. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, which provide comfortable accommodation to out-station students. The knowledge hub at the campus is created with a well-stocked library, including e-journals, periodicals, and DELNET facilities. The college believes in physical fitness for all and so has a gymnasium along with sports facilities. To aid the practice part of learning, BDCE Wardha has laboratories with department-based facilities. The BE streams offered in BDCE, Wardha, are many and cater to different interests and career aspirations. At the undergraduate level, there are a total of six BE programs: Civil Engineering, Computer, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering (with a second shift for Civil Engineering). Under postgraduation, it has five M.Tech programs: Computer Science and Engineering, CAD CAM, Electronics Engineering, Structural Engineering, and VLSI. There is also an option for students interested in management-oriented studies, with a course in Master of Business Administration (MBA). Almost all these courses are full-time courses; BE courses are for four years, while the M. Tech and MBA courses run for two years.

Candidates will be selected for BDCE Wardha on the basis of rules framed by the competent authority, Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. Based on the scores secured in JEE Main or MHTCET and marks at 12th standard, admission is done for the undergraduate program in engineering. Postgraduate admissions to M. Tech programs take into account the GATE scores, while for admission to the MBA course, entrance examinations like MAH MBA CET are conducted. The college offers admission through the CAP rounds and through a management quota.
