Bawa Nihal Singh B.Ed college at Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, is a dedicated college to the teaching profession. The co-educational college was founded in 2006 and is designed to prepare future educators for more than ten years. With a 3-acre space for the education college, a competent environment to nurture the teachers of the nation is provided. Although having a total strength of 288 students and a faculty of 18, GHRCE has an excellent student-faculty ratio and aims at providing quality education. The college is an affiliated college, acknowledging its recognition and the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) regarding the college’s stringency in maintaining the standard of education of its teacher training courses.

As a two-year programme, this teaches students everything that they need to know in order to become successful educators. The college also has 50 seats of specialisation training for prospective teachers at the elemental level through Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Both programmes have an aim to prepare competent and passionate educators for teaching in the field of education.

The admission criteria for the Bawa Nihal Singh B.Ed. College are purely on the merit basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/orentrance test. The admission procedure of that college is as per the government of Punjab and the university which that college is affiliated with.
