Founded in the year 2003, Best College of Education, Tadepalligudem, emerged as an institution that was going to take an important role in deciding the fate for education in Andhra Pradesh. Located in the district of West Godavari in the state of Andhra Pradesh, it is a co-ed affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college campus is over 5 acres in area, thus it provides an inspiring environment to young hopefuls of teachers. With an enrolment of 49 students and a faculty strength of 7, the institute assures personalised attention and quality education. The college trains students in these two courses in education- Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education - aimed at producing skillful and passionate teachers for generations to come.

There is a spacious library on campus that houses over 5,000 books there, including special literature, journals, magazines, and textbooks for the education sector. Academics, there are two full-time programmes at the Best College of Education: B.Ed and D.Ed. Both of them teach profoundly and practically about teaching for two years each. To bring in stability, 50 seats are initiated in each course for both programmes taking it to 100 seats. With controlled intake, one can be sure of getting quality education as well as giving importance to every pupil in the class and thus making it a nurturing learning environment.

Admission procedure at Best College of Education has meticulously structured its admission procedure with a view to filtering out suitable and serious candidates who can become sound teachers. Admissions are made to the B. Ed programme conducted by the college on the basis of entrance test called Ed-CET taken up by the Government of Andhra Pradesh every year. Strictly on merit based scores obtained in the entrance test, the admissions are made as per the reservations planned by the government. The D.Ed programme is merit-based. The merit list has marks secured in the qualifying examination or through an entrance exam, as applicable according to the state government policy.
