Bhadrak Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) was set up in the year 1997 at Barapada, Bhadrak, Odisha and part of the chain of affiliated colleges. This AICTE approved and sprawling over an area of 10.33 acre is providing a MBA programme. The total student enrolment as well as admission strength is 1238 and the faculty strength is 7 for BIET. It is a management institute that addresses the need of young management professionals by providing facility for one full time MBA program with enrolment of 60 students.
BIET has a number of amenities as listed next that are intended to improve the student experience. The institute has a separate hostels for boys and girls with all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi internet facility, freshly baked bacteria-free water supply twenty four hours at the hostel’s premise. An e-library that is optimally stocked is the knowledge center, which currently boasts of more than fifty thousand text books and one hundred and fifty journals as well as electronic documents and videos on courses. It, therefore, has both contracted and open sporting areas as it focuses on the total development of a students. Medical requirements are met by a first-aid center located on the premises and a nearby Primary Health Center. It also has facilities like computerization, pure vegetarian canteen which serves hygienic food, transport facility to connect the institute with the city.
