Bhagwan Mahaveer College of Engineering and Management was started in the year 2009 at Sonipat. Geographically, it is an affiliated college located in the state of Haryana, India. The institute, spread over 22 acres of land, offers engineering education to students with a focus on technical excellence. Presently, 51 faculty members are available who are making honest efforts for the development of the next generation of engineers.

This college has many facilities to support the students in learning and for all-round development. It has a library, which is considered the backbone of an institution and is having more than 10,000 volumes related to various engineering subjects, applied sciences, and humanities. It forms the central point of all the academic and research activities and is regularly updated with new publications and journals. BMCEM has separate hostels for boys and girls, with all the basic facilities, common rooms, and proper security 24 hours a day. The campus is facilitated with a modern cafeteria providing nutritious meals and snacks at subsidized rates. The institute has sports facilities outdoors for cricket, football, volleyball, and a multi-gym for physical fitness and recreation of the students.

Bhagwan Mahaveer College of Engineering and Management offers two B.Tech programs: Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Bhagwan Mahaveer College of Engineering and Management, Sonipat, is a constituent institution of the Haryana state, India. The institute provides engineering studies with emphasis on technical skills. The admission process of BMCEM is mostly merit-based with strong weightage on national-level entrance tests.

For UG courses, BMCEM considers the score of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main as the eligibility for admission. JEE Main is a national-level standardized examination taken for entry into engineering colleges of India. JEE Main appearing for the test is eligible for admission at BMCEM. Apart from JEE Main, certain seats can also be occupied by rank in Common Entrance Test (CET).

Application Process

The application procedure for admission to Bhagwan Mahaveer College of Engineering and Management, Sonipat, is as follows:

1. JEE Main Examination: The applicants should register and sit for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

2. JEE Main Result: Wait for the JEE Main result to be announced. Your performance in this examination will play a big role in your chances of admission.

3. Application to College: Once and when the result of JEE Main is declared, such candidates who are eligible can apply for BMCEM admission. There may be the college application process by which the candidate can submit the online application form provided on the website of the college.

4. Document Submission: Get all the documents ready which are typically:

10th and 12th standard mark sheets
Character certificate
Migration certificate (if required)
Category certificate (if required)

5. Merit List: The college will draft a merit list based on JEE Main marks and/or CET ranks.

6. Counselling Process: The selected candidates can be invited for a counselling process during which they can opt for their desired branch of engineering according to their rank and available seats.

7. Fee Payment: After they are assigned a seat, the candidates must pay the fees as necessary to secure their admission.

8. Final Admission: After proper completion of all the above and document verification, the candidate will be given final admission to college.

Degree wise Admission Procedure

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
BMCEM has a four-year full-time B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering course. The course accepts students based on JEE Main performance. The course is designed to offer a strong foundation in computer science and engineering theory and practical experience.

B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering
There is also a four-year full-time B.Tech course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. For the course, every candidate must appear for the JEE Main test. Admission would be on merit/rank obtained in the JEE Main or CET. The course is designed to equip the students with the in-depth analysis of electrical and electronic systems coupled with well-facilitated laboratories for practice training.

Both B.Tech courses at BMCEM seek to offer a solid theoretical foundation with the added experience. Laboratory sessions are highly valued by the college, providing students with exposure to modern facilities to complement their studies.
