Bharat School of Pharmacy at Hyderabad is known as BIT Hyderabad which is a prominent and reputed institution for the education of pharmacy. This affiliated college was established in 1999 and is situated in Mangalpally Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District of Telangana state. It is an AICTE ‘- Approved and PCI ‘-Recognised Institute to offer quality education in the field of pharmacy. BIT Hyderabad has 293 enrolled students and spread its campus over 120 acres offering various pharmacy courses to its students. For academic human resources, there is a faculty strength of 52 members, so classroom and tutorial consolidation is easily possible with first-class student faculty ratio.
Bharat School of Pharmacy, Hyderabad has basic amenities required to support its academic courses and also keep the students motivated for their learning sessions. It has adequate laboratories for the various branches of pharmacy such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmaceutical Quality assurance and analysis, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacy Practice. These include a central instrumentation room for training and practicals in research and advanced technology. The college library is located at the heart of the Academic Centre of Excellence and provides access to valuable books and journals, both regular and electronic. Regarding physical fitness and recreation, there are a gym and facilities for physical activities in form of indoor and outdoor games. It also provides canteen, seminar hall, and transport to fulfill the needs of the campus students.
BIT Hyderabad being a Pharmacy College provides all the pharmacy courses at the UG and PG levels. The institute offers 7 courses in 3 courses programmes all of which are on full time mode. The B.Pharma course has the total intake of 60 seats while the Pharm.D. course has the total intake 30 seats. At the postgraduate level, specialisation offered in M.Pharma are Pharmaceutical Analysis, Hospital and clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry and many more. A Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programme is also available for all the ten seats. These diverse programmes meet different needs of the pharmaceutical sciences focus, giving students numerous chances to target their pharmaceutical sciences focus region of curiosity.
BIT Hyderabad accepts students mainly on the basis of the entrance examinations conducted at the state and at national level. For the undergraduate programmes such as B.Pharma and Pharm.D. Admissions are done through the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The counselling process is cyberspace based and the seats are filled according to the ranking which the student gets in TS EAMCET. For postgraduate programmes the admission are through Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) & Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) rankings. The distribution of the seats is such that 70 percent of students get admitted through these entrance and 30 percent are of management quota. The college also reserves admissions policy as per the state government norms and regulations.

Eligible candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. BIT Hyderabad admission process is through web counseling conducted by the Convenor of TSEAMCET according to the combined rank obtained in the exam.
Pharm.D programme has an intake of 30 seats and BIT Hyderabad admission process is based on TS EAMCET exam. The entrance test for these admission is conducted by the state government and allotment of seats is based on merit rank secured.
BIT Hyderabad offers various specialisations in M.Pharma including Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. BIT Hyderabad admission process is undertaken through web counseling based on GPAT and TS PGECET ranks-the 70% of the seats are allotted through the entrance exam ranks while the rest 30% are through management based on TS PGECET rank or B.Pharmacy marks percentage.
The intake of Pharm.D course is 10. BIT Hyderabad admission process is similar to that of M.Pharma where candidates will be admitted through web counseling based on GPAT and TS PGECET ranks. This follows the 70 to 30 ratio in terms of ranks in the entrance examination and management quota.
