Buchanan Institutions Teachers Training Institute, Pallom admission process is set to recognise the most suitable and passionate candidates for their teacher education programme. BITTI Pallom admission system is merit-based. It selects candidates based upon their performance in entrance tests or qualifying examinations, or any other mode specified by the state government for selection of candidates in accordance with its excellence standards in elementary school teachers' production.

BITTI Pallom admissions usually is consistent with the academic year, such that the school calendar falls between the end of July through August/ September. Though different at times, in principle, potential candidates should expect preparing applications around July and August leading up to an academic calendar. The first criteria for eligibility that must be satisfied to apply to Buchanan Institutions Teachers Training Institute, Pallom D.El.Ed programme are clearing the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board.
