The BIS College of Pharmacy was founded in 2000 and is in Moga, Punjab, India. This institute is co-educational which is located on Moga Amritsar Highway and extends its campus over an area of 3 acres only. College is an affiliated college, sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as well as the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Overall, BIS College of Pharmacy starts 120 students every one year and is staffed with an active faculty of 24 members. Currently, the institute offers four specialised courses at three degree levels to meet with different components of pharmaceutical education.

The college includes many facilities intended to improve the studies and contribute to the students’ success. The library is one of the most important assets of learning the institution boasts of a collection of over 25000 books and subscribes to over 60 national and international e- journals. It is highly computerized with full air conditioning, internet connections, and reprographic services. As for students’ health needs, the campus is equipped with gender-segregated hostels for residents, sports facilities for fitness center, indoor and outdoor sports activities and a gym. It also has an outstanding IT facility which includes a computer laboratory and Internet connectivity in all the facilities. Also, common welfare facilities include a well-ventilated canteen, transportation facilities up to 70 km, on-campus ATMs and lots of parking areas.

Their purpose is to prepare learners for jobs which would require them to apply knowledge and skills in the numerous fields of pharmacy. The number of graduates produced for the latest year is missing but looking at the concentration of the college towards quality education in pharmacy through various courses offered then one is provoked.

The admission requirements at BIS College of Pharmacy are laid down according to programmes offered by the college. The course of B.Pharma has 66.6% of seats for students admitted through PTU (Punjab Technical University) and 33.3% of Management seats. All seats including seats for the D.Pharma course are filled strictly on merit basis.  Although the data concerning the scholarships offered are missing, the college provides a wide variety of the amenities to the students who need them during their studying process.
