About BDCET, Jharsuguda
Black Diamond College of Engineering and Technology (BDCET) was set up in 2008, at Jharsuguda, Odisha. This affiliated college is approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and it offer various engineering courses. Located on a thirty-acre land, BDCET enrolleds a total of five hundred and eighty seven students and has a workforce of forty two faculty members. Now the institute offers six B.Tech courses such as computer science and engineering, electronics & telecommunication engineering, and mechanical engineering for different engineering dreams.
The following are some of the facilities Black Diamond College of Engineering and Technology has to offer in enhancement of its academics. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, with well furnished rooms with washrooms, 24 hours light and students are connected to internet. Basic to any institution, a central library provides information to students, academic and research as well as staff. The campus consists of well-equipped physiognomical laboratories along with various special laboratories such as Power Electronics Lab, VLSI & Embedded System Lab etc., which provide practical knowledge. To promote student’s health needs, the college has medical facilities to address students’ needs round the clock, the school also has qualified doctors.

The admission in BDCET now is solely depends on the JEE Main examination, organised by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Notably, the college also offers admission based on scores that a student has obtained from the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) apart from the usual central and state government undertaken examinations.
