Established in 1952, Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai aims to provide professional medical education to all aspiring medical aspirants. The college is a post graduate college affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college offers a total of 15 courses wherein 9 courses are PG courses while 6 courses are offered at doctoral levels in various specialisation like gynaecology, neuro surgery, general medicine, Nephrology, Urology and more. Some of the courses at BHIMS, Mumbai are MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology, M.Ch Neuro Surgery, DM Nephrology, DM Cardiology and more. Admission to these courses are taken on merit basis determined through State CET Cell through NEET PG counselling. Along with this, the Institute also offers a number of facilities to its staff and students that comprise of central libraries, hostel and residential accommodation, playground and gymnasium, ethical committee and much more.
