The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology, Hajipur, was established in 1994 as a premier institution specializing in petrochemicals engineering and technology education. The government-owned institute is based in the EPIP Complex of Hajipur Industrial Area, Bihar, and covers 5.65 acres of land. The All India Council for Technical Education approves this institute to ensure quality education in the area. The total enrolment is 732 students, while the faculty number 20.
