The Central Tool Room Ludhiana (CTR) is an Indo-German project college set up under a bilateral agreement on technical cooperation between the Government of India and the Government of Germany. CTR Ludhiana is dedicated to the growth and advancement of India's tooling sector. In 1980, the Government of India's Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) founded the CTR Ludhiana.
CTR Ludhiana seeks to offer a variety of industrial support services to small, medium, and large-scale companies. They have state-of-the-art equipment for teaching, designing, prototyping, and tool development.
The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Training (PSBTE). The institute runs short-term and long-term courses in CAD/CAM, Mobile repairing, CNC machining, PLC programming, and courses up to diploma and post-diploma level.
