48 MonthsThe BCA Course aims at inculcating essential skills information technology and compiler application as demanded by the global software industry through interactive learning process. This also includes Team-Building Skills, Audio- Visual Presentations and Personality Development Programmes. The programme enhances analytical and communication skills besides inculcating the virtues of self-study. The programme is divided into eight semesters with two semesters in one academic year. Each semester has a working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.
Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks
Preparatory Leave : 1 week
Semester End Examination (including Practical) : 3 weeks
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have at least 50% (Best of 4 including English as language) in the qualifying Examination (10+2) with Maths or Computer Science / Information Practice / Computer Application / Multimedia & Web Technologies / Data Management Application / Web Application as one of the Compulsory subject.
Admission Details
- Candidate should have qualified Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for BBA & BCA courses is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) & admission as per the rules and guidelines of GGSIP University, Delhi (www.ipu.ac.in)
- It is mandatory to appear in CET/CUET & qualify the same for admission GGSIP University affiliated colleges
