48 MonthsThe BCA Course aims at inculcating essential skills information technology and compiler application as demanded by the global software industry through interactive learning process. This also includes Team-Building Skills, Audio- Visual Presentations and Personality Development Programmes. The programme enhances analytical and communication skills besides inculcating the virtues of self-study. The programme is divided into eight semesters with two semesters in one academic year. Each semester has a working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.
Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks
Preparatory Leave : 1 week
Semester End Examination (including Practical) : 3 weeks

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have atleast 50% (Best of 4 subjects, including English) in the qualifying examination (10+2) with Maths or Computer Science/ Information Practice/ Computer Application/ Multimedia & Web Technologies/ Data Management Application/ Web Application as one of the Compulsory subject
- Three year Diploma in Branch of Engineering from Polytechnic approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% aggregate

Candidate should have qualified the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for BCA, conducted by NTA.
