    The introduction of 1-Year LL.M. Degree Programme by the University Grant Commission (UGC) is intended to enable the existing legal education system to compete with the system prevailing in developed countries like USA and UK. The students will get an opportunity to pursue this pioneering post-graduation programme from an Indian University of excellence. The CPJ School of Law offers 1-Year LL.M. Degree Programme as per UGC Guidelines. Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi & Approved by Bar Council of India, Delhi, the vision of CPJ School of Law is to impart excellence in Legal Education and become a renowned Centre for Higher Legal Education and Academic Research.

    Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks

    Semester End Term Examination (including Comprehensive Viva) : 3 weeks

    Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates should have completed their LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India or an equivalent Law Degree from a Recognized University with at least 55% score. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category must have secured at least 45% in aggregate in their qualifying degree examination.

    Admission Details

    • All applicants are required to appear in Post Graduate Common Law Admission Test (PG CLAT 2025) that is conducted by Consortium of National law Universities or Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for Admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit prepared on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT – PG) Merit for its admissions. It is Mandatory to Register for LL.M programmes with GGSIPU.
    • Applicants must register online with GGSIPU for seeking admission in LL.M Course.
