    About Chembur Karnataka College of Law, Chembur

    Chembur Karnataka Sangha’s, Chembur Karnataka College of Law (CKCL) is the premier Kannada Minority Institution established for imparting legal education. It was established in the year 2017. In conformity with the vision and mission set by its Founding Fathers, CKCL imparts legal education with practical training. It was inaugurated under the auspices of former Supreme Court Judge Hon’ble Shri Justice Shivraj V. Patil. 

    Chembur Karnataka College of Law, Chembur is affiliated with the university University of Mumbai, Mumbai. Chembur Karnataka College of Law offers an LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) programme. This is usually a three-year undergraduate programme for candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline. Chembur Karnataka College of Law offers a B.A. LL.B. (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) Integrated programme of arts and law field which would run for 5 years. Usually, it is given to students who have completed their 10+2 education. Chembur Karnataka College of Law admission process may depend on the score in law entrance exams as well as the 12th standard marks. 

    Being a kannada Linguistic minority institution, around 51% of the seats are reserved for students belongings to the minority uota. Eligible candidates include those with Kannada, Tulu or Konkani as their mother tongue or those having roots in Karnataka.

    The college also emphasis practical learning through committees such as Moot Court, Legal Aid, and Placement Committees. It provides good infrastructure facilities including a well-equipped library IT labs and other academic resources to support students.
