Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj College of Education, Ahmednagar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library has more than 4000 books on various subjects primarily focusing on education and education technology. Also, there are a number of magazine and journal subscriptions. The borrowing facility is available well beyond college working hours thanks to our librarian Mr. Sawant U.P. (M. Lib & I. Sc). The students are always encouraged to avail themselves of the facilities. The borrowing restrictions are relaxed and each student is able to borrow four books simultaneously. There is a separate reading room adjacent to the library.

The college has an Education Technology Lab: Many educational technology apparatuses are available to the students. These range from a simple public address system to an LCD projector. Science Lab: Apparatus for up to H.S.C. level science experiments are provided here.

The college Future educators will be using Information Technology to the full extent. So it is mandatory to prepare them for this. The college has a full-fledged computer lab with a full-time ICT Instructor. Facilities like broadband Internet access etc are available.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college avails of the services of a full-time Physical Director Mr. Parkhe B.K. (M.P.Ed). Creative recreations etc are encouraged.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
