Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by Patna University, Patna.

Specialization:

(1) Painting – The objective of the three-year Specialization course in Painting is to provide the student with training in the skills for original and creative visual expression.

(2) Sculpture – The techniques and processes of creating three-dimensional forms and images by carving, casting, construction, modeling, etc.

(3) Applied Art – Applied Art is all about communication, art, and technology. It basically deals in Advertising and graphic design, giving full exposure in print media, and electronic media.

(4) Graphics / Printmaking– It is a form of artistic expression where the statement is made usually on paper, through emphasis online, marks, or printed letters rather than on colors. It includes everything from drawing to printmaking of all kinds.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to 1st year; semester 1(foundation course) of the B.F.A. program must have secured at least secured 45% marks at the intermediate / +2 or equivalent examination recognized by Patna University.

Admission Details

Admission to B.F.A. semester 1 shall be made on the order of merit on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the admission test conducted by the College of Arts and Crafts, Patna.

College is very good and very old

College Infrastructure

The campus is too huge ..it is around 120 acres ..and the facilities aren't that good ...as it is an old college ..it still follows the olden ways ....and the academic facilities are up to the mark...we have two libraries....with many number of books.
