The College of Education, Guwahati was established in the year 1987 is an affiliated college found in Christian Basti, Guwahati of the state Assam. This co-educational institution is recognised from the National Council for Teacher Education [Affiliation No. 93/2017/NCTE]. Located in a small area of 1 acres, the college’s main concentrations are teaching-centred education programs. The college has a total enrolment of 176 students and a faculty members of 16; thus, the college has an ideal student-teacher ratio thereby encouraging conducive learning.
The College of Education, Guwahati, which is passionate about the preparation of teachers has only one program that it offers to students and that is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
