Situated in Morigaon, Assam, the College of Education, which was established in the year 1994, has grown as one of the leading teacher training institutes. This is a co-educational institution affiliated with the state university and admitted hence following quality education in the teaching field under the approval of NCTE. The college has a compact campus of 1 acre and offers two specialisations with a total student enrolment of 200. The B.Ed. course has an enrolment of 100 students with a fee structure of ₹ 180,000. In contrast, the D.El.Ed. has an enrolment of 100 students with a fee structure of ₹54,000. These courses are so arranged as to provide thorough knowledge of educational theories and practical teaching skills; thus, the graduate will be well-equipped to meet all challenges of modern classrooms.

At College of Education, Morigaon, the admission process goes on to select the most promising candidates for its programs. Admission to the course of B.Ed. shall be based on merit, as determined by an entrance test conducted by the affiliating university.
