24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Plantation Spices Medicinal and Aromatic Crops is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shivamogga, and approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Eligibility Criteria
- (i) Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in the concerned faculty with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or its equivalent from a recognised Agricultural / Horticultural University or Deemed University recognised by ICAR. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Cat I, a minimum of OGPA 6.00/10.00 pass in a Bachelor's degree is adequate.
- (ii) The candidate should produce a character and conduct certificate issued by the Dean of the respective university.
- (iii) Candidate should have passed a UG degree programme from any Farm University in Karnataka. Horanadu / Gadinadu Kannadigas should have passed a degree from an Agricultural / Horticultural University or Deemed University recognised by ICAR from anywhere in India.
- iv) All eligible candidates seeking admission to the Master's degree programme need to apply All India Entrance Examination for Admission to Master's Degree Programme - AIEEA conducted by the National Testing Agency in the concerned stream and produce a score card (rank card). Students can also choose any subjects that belong to the stream he/she choose.
- Candidate who seeks admission for subjects other than ICAR-accredited courses shall appear Farm University entrance exam as per their choices.
