The college is located on a sizable area of 12 & ¾ acres and has strength of 457 students and 80 faculty members. The institution teaches 20 courses at three different levels of degree, with concentrations in several areas of nursing practice including Critical Care, Emergency and Disaster Nursing, Oncology, and Psychiatric Nursing. The college of Nursing CMC, Vellore has come up along way from its modest beginning over a century ago to earning recognition as one of the best nursing colleges in the country.
The college has many basic and some special amenities that expand the learning opportunities of the students. An equipped library is always useful because it helps to gain access to the large amount of the nursing literature and research sources. Sophisticated laboratories can be used for practical exercises, so learners receive essential practical experience in the state-of-art conditions. The College of Nursing CMC, Vellore: Course offers a wide range of educational programmes to cater the nursing education. The institution has 20 full time courses comprising undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses. The college provides B.Sc nursing for the 4 years at Undergraduate level and 2 years Post Basic B.Sc nursing for Undergraduate level. The postgraduate programmes comprise M.Sc courses in specific fields like Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing , Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and Psychiatric nursing etc. The college also has a three year General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) diploma course and numerous One year Post Basic diploma specialisations in nursing. College of Nursing M.Sc Admission Procedure

Dear student every year cutoff changes as you know the competition is so high. last year cutoff was really high so looking into the last years cut off I would recommend you to obtain good marks . As you have not mention your category so for general category student if you want to get admission in a good Medical College try to keep your marks above 580 and if you belong from SC category then try to maintain your marks above 520 and if you belong from St category then also try to keep your marks above 500 that is cut off really very high and you should keep your marks in a safer site.
