College of Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering, Gujarat, was established in the year 2009 as a nodal constituent in promoting sustainable energy solutions and environmental stewardship. Located at Sardarkrushinagar, Dantiwada, this college offers a myriad of specialised programmes in renewable energy and environmental engineering with just 10 faculty members and, hence, provides very personalised opportunities to students with a passion to solve problems for the world environment.

Supporting facilities to offer a holistic experience to students in the course of learning include a library—a hub of knowledge in all spheres to study and conduct research. For the sports-loving, the college offers indoor and outdoor facilities, including fields for kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, and table tennis. All departments are well equipped with laboratories that are provided with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including the latest testing instruments, machines, and training kits for practical hands-on experience. An air-conditioned auditorium with all its multimedia facilities is used for all the events and seminars. The IT infrastructure of the college includes 16 connected computers, which keeps the students connected to the world and makes them technology-savvy. There are facilities for comfortable boys' and girls' hostels, thus promoting a residential learning environment.

Admission to the College of Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering will be done through separate procedures for each programme. For B.Tech Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering, admission will be based on merit acquired in academics and the results of the entrance exams. The parameters of such selection are 60% from PCM scoring and the rest from GUJCET results. The GUJCET is one of the popular examinations that the college has accepted for undergraduate admissions.
