The CSI College of Education Parassala was started in the year 1995 and is one of the leading teacher training college, established in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This is a co-educational institution which is recognized by University of Kerala and also recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Situated and expansively spread over 5-acre of landscape Garden area, the college provides a favorable atmosphere to the future teachers. CS founded CSI College of Education that offers affordable quality education with 106 enrolled students and faculty 16 members. 

The college has all the facilities one could expect from such institution to improve the study experience of its learners. A standard library section has been established and the collection includes an access of 6093 books, 22 sets encyclopedia, 95 dictionaries and 475 reference books. The library also attends to, 10 Journals and has its members ship with over 3100 e-journals and 75000 e-books from N-LIST. The campus facilities have adopted modern developments in ICT including an ICT lab equipped with photocopiers, printers, LCD projectors and software tools. Science lab for psychology, mathematics, physical science, social science and natural science allow the students to practically practice what they learn. 

CSI College of Education, Parassala has combined a total of two courses for its students out of which all the courses are of full time mode. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) as well as Master of Education (M.Ed) are professional courses that take two academic years. This approach permits the institute to assure that the quality of education it produces is high and the students receive personal attention in their study. 

The admission policy of CSI College of Education, Parassala is based on the mark obtained in the previous final examination as per government and university norms in consultation with UT administration. In case of B.Ed programme the admission are granted directly on the merit earned in the previous examination/entrance examination conducted by the University/other competent authorities. Likewise the admission process for the M.Ed programme is based on merit on marks obtained from the qualifying examination or entrance examination. The college complies with any other means of admission as dictated by the policy of the various authorities.
