Dalmia College Rajgangpur, established in 1970 with its campus at Jharbera, Tunmura, Sundergarh District, Odisha, is an affiliated college. This institution situated at a comprehensive area of 29.6 acres has received accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Dalmia College has 1,305 students in total and that has 36 faculty members, The college offers three Undergraduate Degree programmes only. A magnet school on education, the college boasts of offering quality education in arts, commerce and science streams so as to meet the learning needs of students in the college.

The college contains numerous facilities aimed at the development of the general learning environment of the students. Being an important section of education system, packages a variety of nearly 24,000 books in general and 5000 books in Book Bank. To support touch-and-feel education, the college has functional laboratories for physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology departments. These are Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). The college offers an intake of 1,305 students possibly in all courses for all levels of study, hence the college embraces the principles of offering an opportunity towards access and parity in higher education in the region. Every one of the three key degree courses of study, that is, BA, B.Com, and B.Sc has an approved student capacity of 128 students to accommodate the distribution of students across faculties.
