Damayantitai Deshmukh B.Ed. College, Ramtek, is one of the esteemed teacher training institutes in Maharashtra. This college is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers two primary courses that are the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and the Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed). Damayantitai Deshmukh B.Ed. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: This Bachelor of Education Program is set for a sanctioned intake of 100 students at Damayantitai Deshmukh B.Ed. College. The merit-based entry into the B.Ed. program is based on qualifying entrance examination marks and/or other selection criteria that may be adopted as per State Government/UT Administration and University policy. This programme spans two years on a regular basis and it prepares students to earn a living in teaching.

D.T.Ed.: This program has an approved intake of 100 students. Admissions to the D.T.Ed., however, are based strictly on merit, on the qualifying examination and entrance examination scores. This is a two-year regular course designed to train students in teaching fundamentals at the elementary level.
