B.Com.: DAV College admission to the Bachelor of Commerce programme is entirely merit-based. Candidates who got through their 10+2 examination with commerce or related subjects are eligible to apply. Selection will take into consideration marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
B.B.A.: Admission to Bachelor of Business Administration is thus merit based. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 from any recognised board can apply. Selection will consider the entire academic performance in the qualifying exam.
B.C.A.: For the Bachelor of Computer Applications programme, admission is based on merit criteria. Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination with mathematics as one of the subjects at that level for admission to the BCA course are eligible. Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination giving more importance to mathematics marks.
B.Sc. Agriculture: All admissions into this programme are done purely at merit level. An applicant must hold a 10+2 qualification with agriculture or any related science background. Selection considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination for the programme.
B.P.Ed.: The Bachelor of Physical Education programme admits students both on merit basis along with an entrance exam or other selection processes as per the policy of State Government/UT administration and the University.
M.A. (Various Subjects): DAV College admission to Master of Arts in Punjabi, Hindi, History, Political Science, etc., is strictly merit-based. A bachelor degree from a relevant stream will be needed to qualify.
M.Sc. (Various Subjects): Admission into the different programmes of Master of Science, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Biotechnology, and Information Technology, is mostly on a merit basis. But for M.Sc. Chemistry, admission is on the basis of the Online Common Entrance Test (OCET).
M.Com.: The Master of Commerce is granted for undergraduate qualifications obtained in merit only. Indeed, candidates with a B.Com. or equivalent would be able to apply.
