The health of the college staff and students is of utmost importance and the college takes all suitable measures to ensure their well-being. The dispensary on the campus of DAV College Bathinda caters to the first aid and routine medical requirements of the faculty, staff, and students free of cost. A qualified medico visits the college during the stipulated hours. Cleanliness and hygiene are maintained immaculately. The dispensary is equipped with the necessary basic facilities of a bed, stretcher, wheelchair, and other required apparatus. Medicines are also provided to college inmates. The doctor and medical experts not only provide consultancy but various health awareness seminars are also organized from time to time.
The College Library has a very rich collection of books on all subjects being taught in the College at Intermediate, Graduate, and Post-Graduate levels. More than 36600 titles are available for the use of its readers. Facilities: Book-Bank Facility, E-Catalogue, Internet Facility, INFLIBNET, Library Reading RoomCirculation Counter. Around 36600 books on all subjects taught in the college are housed in the fully automated library. A good collection of reference books is also available for consultation. A separate reading hall on the library's first floor provides a quiet and comfortable study area for the students.
A Multipurpose Hall of approximately 500 seating capacity with 15000 sq feet big area and have aesthetically laid two side corridors with the main hall. This hall is equipped with a perfect acoustic system obtained through sound reflective surfaces and sound absorptive mechanisms. The sound in the hall is planned to be supplemented by modern amplifiers and other accessories. This hall also has recording facilities. This hall is being used for purely cultural events, big seminars, indoor games, and art exhibitions. A separate rehearsal area with properly designed separate makeup and green rooms has been provided on its first floor.
Taking steps towards inculcating healthy food habits among students and providing a refreshing ambiance, the old canteen has been dismantled and in its place, a new Student Centre cum Food Court has been constructed. This impressive building has become a favorite jaunt amongst the students. It has a spacious area with a seating capacity of around 150 students and an adjoining room for the staff and the faculty. The whole ambiance of the Food Court is so soothing and stimulating that it creates a new surge of energy amongst all and caters to the hearty appetite of students, thus offering them sumptuous and healthy food.
