The management admits candidates under the Management and NRI quotas based on merit. Applicants must have at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). Additionally, 20% of seats are filled through the ECET counselling process for diploma holders who have passed a diploma examination recognised by the Andhra Pradesh State Government or an equivalent authority.
The candidate must meet the B.Tech eligibility criteria to apply for admission.
They must secure a valid score in AP EAPCET to meet DNR College of Engineering and Technology, Bhimavaram cutoff.

The infrastructure can accommodate regular classes, although some of the Mechanical lab and workshop equipment is somewhat out-of-date. However, the classrooms and library are quite functional, and better maintenance along with new machines would be a advantage
The college has excellent infrastructure for CSE, which includes well-furnished computer labs, class rooms, a good library and internet. All requirements have been fulfilled although some labs and software require updating. Overall, the facilities seem to be enough for regular classes and practicals
