Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Candidates with at least 50 % mark either in the Bachelor’s Degree (for example B.Com, B. Sc, B.A, B. Arch, BMS, BMM, BSW, BE, etc) and/or with 55% marks in the Master’s Degree in Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or any other qualification equivalent thereof, are eligible for admission to the program.

( b ) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ ST / OBC / PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.

Admission Details

A Candidate for admission to the degree of education (B.Ed.) must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the directives of the Government of Maharashtra from time to time.
