Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
The College has two hostels where our students find accommodation. Both are run by religious sisters. The college has an understanding with them by which, all the girl students who wish to stay in a hostel can find a place there. These two hostels are close to the college and the hostel authorities are in constant touch with the college management. The hostels give good facilities, security, and ambient for their academic, spiritual, and leisure requirements.
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
The College Library offers a very good collection of books and secondary materials for the academic community. It has a computerized Library Management system with 13000 volumes, in addition, there are Journals, Magazines, and Dailies. The Library is envisaged to support the educational and research programs of the college by providing physical and online access to information, consistent with the present and the anticipated educational and research functions of the institute.
The College gives utmost importance to the development of students through sports and games. The major games for men - Football, Volleyball, Shuttle Badminton, and Cricket teams are maintained.
The college has a well-furnished computer lab with 40 computers to cater to the needs of the academic as well as the project activities of the students. All the computers are connected via LAN.
The college provides a newly built Canteen facility. Students frequent the canteen during their meal hours and intervals to enjoy delicious snacks, coffee/tea, and meals. The canteen is well furnished with a service counter, tables, chairs, and wash space. It is well aerated and spacious enough for over 100 students at a time. The meals and snacks are served at a lower price than outside shops. On auspicious occasions, a special menu is prepared and served. The canteen also provides food and snacks for various gatherings of the staff and students as per orders.
The college also has an indoor auditorium and another spacious seminar hall for academic and cultural events.
The College has a language lab that helps the students to learn the language in a better way. There are fifteen workstations where students can access good quality listening material, record their own speech, and interact with the teacher who monitors their performance. Lab hours are assigned to all the students as part of their regular schedule. We are fully confident that every student benefits from this program, improving their spoken English through constant practice, continuous assessment by teacher and self, exposure to good listening material from the BBC, Cambridge University, etc. Mr. Igneshious coordinates the functioning of the lab with the help of the teachers of the Department of English.
The College men’s hostel is within the college Campus and is looked after by the Salesian Fathers. One of the Priests in the management is the Hostel warden. A nominal fee of 15 and excellent facilities: Accommodation, Dining hall, Study rooms, games, and a host of value-added facilities make the hostel life interesting and happy. There are two hostels where our students find accommodation. Both are run by religious sisters.
