Dr Ambedkar Institute of Medical Science unit was established in the year 2013, located at Jagada, Sundargarh, Odisha, and comes under a separate university itself. This institute is only for females and is committed to medical and nursing courses, which are recognised by INC: Indian Nursing Council. Set on a mere plot area of 4,800 sq ft, the institute sanctions three full-time courses under two degree programme.
