Dr. BR Ambedkar P.G. College was commenced in 1999 to provide higher education to the student’s community and is situated in Jaipur city of Rajasthan state of India. This affiliated college provides a number of courses as per the need of the students to pursue higher education, for which the college is located in one acre area. This college has a total registration of 1,752 students to be taught by 24 qualified instructors, and therefore gives an adequate learning atmosphere.

Dr. BR Ambedkar P.G. (Post Graduate) College has a host of infrastructures that are useful in supplementing the learning process of the learners. Being part of academic resources, the main asset is a library containing a collection of approximately 6000 books to address various subjects in the offered courses. The library system is computerised; the library contains a reading room where student sit down to read their books without being distracted. For the practical sessions, the college has a well equipped laboratory facility covering Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geography Drawing & Painting and Home Science. These are well equipped, well-furnished Labs filled with modern apparatus and materials to provide practical training to the students of their concerned discipline.

The course offered by Dr. BR Ambedkar PG College covers all areas of education for students with different goals. The institution offers 16 programmes in various fields, 3 undergraduate programmes and 13 post graduate programmes. The undergraduate programmes include BA, B.Com and B.Sc with intake capacities of 180, 180, and 300 students respectively. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MA in Hindi Literature, English Literature, Sanskrit, Political Science, History, Drawing and Painting, and Geography, M.Sc in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geography, Physics and Mathematics. Every course offered to postgraduate has 40 students in a given year. These courses are full-time, which gives student a profound subject knowledge in the chosen specialisation area.
