Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV) or Panjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra and is one of the most prominent agricultural universities in the state. The college is an institution under the Government of India Act and was established in March 1988 to impart quality education, research, and training in agricultural sciences to the entire country through the most competent human resources in the allied fields of agriculture and the environment.

The university is offering undergraduate programmes such as B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) which is a four-year course. The most important performance requirement for this study is the MHT CET conducted by the State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra. The candidate should comply with the educational requirements defined for the course; i.e. he/she should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology and meet the minimum percentage criteria fixed by the university. The admission process consists of centralized state admission system application, verification of documents, drawing of merit list, counseling, allotment of seats, and fee submission.
