Dr Jagannath Mishra College, Jasidih is an affiliated college for the Deoghar, Jharkhand which was established in the year 1979. Dr Jagannath Mishra College provides both sexes with education and is located at 5.15 acres to facilitate traditional and ultra-modern styles of learning. The total enrolment of students is 651 and the faculty consists 31 members which make the college to provide effective learning environment.

The college which is a center of higher learning has installed several facilities aimed at improving the learning process. Students, therefore, rely on the library as their ultimate reference source of books, journals and other related materials. As for the practical exposure, the college consists of departmental laboratories to fulfil practical parts of different courses.
