Dr.J.K.Saikia Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Jorhat, Established in 1975, it is well known homeopathic medical college of Assam. This affiliated college which is recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy <CCH> has been training would-be homeopaths for nearly five decades. The college is located at an 8-acre land on a quiet environment that is appropriate for learning new things as well as personal development. Having a total strength of 171 students & having a strong teacher student ratio of 17 faculty members, the institute provides a students focused & quality education in homeopathy. The college has numerous facilities that ensures that the learning process is well facilitated to produce the best result in the students.

Modern facilities of the institution include sophisticated laboratory with modern equipment to give the students practical experience. Dr.J.K.Saikia Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital has separate hostel for boys and girls’ which are comfortable and secure enough for those who seek accommodation. Dr. J.K. Saikia Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital mainly aims at providing the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). This is a full time course taking six years to complete and it give student comprehensive knowledge and skills on homeopathic drugs. The college has permission to admit 63 students in the BHMS programme. This specialisation provides an opportunity for institution to direct adequate and competent resources to produce well equipped Homeopathic personnel. For this course, students whose age is between 17to 24 and who have passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology wirth 50% minimum marks are eligible.
