Dr. Palpu College of Arts and Science, Puthussery, started in 2014, aims to take on the onerous challenge to become a leading institution among the institutions of higher learning in the state and in Kerala, India. Sitting in the natural spinal of Puthussery, this affiliated college is rich in providing numerous under graduate and post graduate courses. The institution has a total student capacity of six hundred and twenty seven and a faculty of twenty seven thus offering the student with a favorable ground for academic success and personal grooming. In all, the college provides 10 courses in 5-degree programs covering arts; commerce; and science.

Half of the seats of the under graduate programmes are being allotted centralized by the Government of Kerala or its agency.
