Dr Zakir Husain Urdu Junior College of Education, Nagpur Admission Process
Dr. Zakir Husain Urdu Junior College of Education, Nagpur is an independent institution of teacher education duly recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only for the D.El.Ed. Diploma in Elementary Education course. The admission processes are as given in the norms and policies of the Government of Maharashtra and UT concerning the offered courses. The criteria for admissions will be entirely on merit either on the basis of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policies laid by the state government.
Application Process
Admission Notification: The college publishes the official notice announcing the commencement of its admission process.
Application Form: Candidates can apply online through the college portal or obtain the application form from the college office.
Document Submission: The duly completed application form must be sent along with the documents to be submitted by the candidates, such as:
Mark sheets for 10th and 12th
School Leaving Certificate
Character Certificate
Caste Certificate (if required)
Other documents as prescribed by the college
Entrance Examination: The applicant may be asked to sit for an entrance examination as per state policy, if applicable.
Merit List: The merit list shall be prepared based on the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.
Counselling and Seat Allocation: Candidates on the merit list will be called for the counselling session through which seats will be allocated on merits and availability.
Fee Payment: Candidates shall pay their admission fees accordingly within the stipulated time to lock in their allotted seat.
Document Checking: Finally the authorities will check all the original documentation before granting final admission.
Degree-wise Admission Process
D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): This is a full-time two-year diploma course for teacher preparation at the primary school level. The sanctioned intake approved for the course is 40, admissions to which shall be strictly on merit, based on 10+2 examination and/or entrance examination as applicable. Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board. The minimum qualifying marks and other conditions of eligibility shall be as per the rules of the state government.
