The Educational Multimedia Research Centre, DAVV, Indore is a constituent college of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Indore, Madhya Pradesh and was set up in 1990. This is a specialised media and electronic institution providing three full- time post graduate and doctoral programmes. Situated in the Takshashila Campus, EMRC is privileged to have a team of five dedicated professionals who help the students navigate through exciting course such as Media Management and Electronic Media.
Educational Multimedia Research Centre gives physical facilities that are well equipped with modern amenities to promote academic goal and personal development. The air conditioned reading area facilitates most of the reading needs in research and other studies. To support the library, there is a highly-functional computer laboratory with the latest equipment such as computers and internet for fast access to develop technologies in the market. The pride of EMRC’S training centres is the CDF Laboratory with a lecture theatre, fitting facilities, and large work stations, a practical studio where students conduct themselves as professional testing technicians utilising the state of the art equipment.
The centre provides a small but diverse list of classes, which is designated to cover all the most important spheres of media education. EMRC's academic portfolio includes three full-time programmes.
