ECMT, Barasat, is an institution that provides students with a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in management, technology, and healthcare. The college follows a systematic admission process to find eligible candidates for its courses

The entry in ECMT is mostly made by common entrance tests. Undergraduate programs like BCA, BBA, and BBA in Hospital Management take students on merit and through a Common Entrance Test (CET) announced by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.

Application Process

Eminent College of Management and Technology, Barasat application process is as under:

1. Notice: The college provides notice at the starting of the process of admission on their website as well as on other media websites.

2. Common Entrance Test: Candidates need to appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET) taken by MAKAUT for concerned courses.

3. Application Form: Once the CET results have been declared, shortlisted candidates can download and complete the application form. It is available for download on the college website or in the admission office.

4. Submission of Documents: The filled-up application form with supporting documents needs to be submitted by the candidates, which are generally:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• CET score card
• Proof of date of birth
• Class certificate (if necessary)
• Any other documents or certificates as might be necessary by the college

5. Merit List: Merit list is displayed by the college on the basis of CET marks and other parameters as per university guidelines.

6. Counselling and Seat Allocation: Selected candidates are called for counselling, where they might choose the course of choice at rank subject to availability of seats.

7. Fee Payment: The shortlisted candidates are required to pay the fee as prescribed by the college as formal acceptance of admission.

8. Documents Verification: All of the original documents presented by the candidates to the college during the time of admission are verified and authenticated by the college.

• Intake: 60 seats
• Admission Procedure: Through Common Entrance Test (CET) announced by MAKAUT
• Eligibility: All stream students

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration):

• Intake: 60
• Admission Procedure: Through Common Entrance Test (CET) released by MAKAUT
• Eligibility: All stream students

BBA Hospital Management:

• Intake: 30
• Admission Procedure: Through Common Entrance Test (CET) released by MAKAUT
• Eligibility: All stream students

B.Optom (Bachelor of Optometry):

• Intake: 30
• Admission Process: Through Common Entrance Test (CET) released by MAKAUT
• Eligibility: All student of Humanities, Science, Commerce stream can apply.

BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology):

• Intake: 30 seats
• Admission Process: Through Common Entrance Test (CET) announced by MAKAUT
• Eligibility: Any student is eligible to apply.

M.Sc Computer Science:

• Intake: 15 seats
• Admission Process: Through Common Entrance Test (CET) announced by MAKAUT
• Eligibility: Candidates with respective bachelor's degree are eligible to apply
