The entry in ECMT Barasat is mostly made by common entrance tests. Undergraduate programmes like BCA, BBA, and BBA in Hospital Management take students on merit and through a Common Entrance Test (CET) announced by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.

• Notice: The college provides notice at the starting of the process of admission on their website as well as on other media websites.
• Common Entrance Test: Candidates need to appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET) taken by MAKAUT for concerned courses.
• Application Form: Once the CET results have been declared, shortlisted candidates can download and complete the application form. It is available for download on the college website or in the admission office.
• Submission of Documents: The filled-up application form with supporting documents needs to be submitted by the candidates.
• Merit List: Merit list is displayed by the college on the basis of CET marks and other parameters as per university guidelines.
• Counselling and Seat Allocation: Selected candidates are called for counselling, where they might choose the course of choice at rank subject to availability of seats.
• Fee Payment: The shortlisted candidates are required to pay the fee as prescribed by the college as formal acceptance of admission.

M.Sc Computer Science:
