Library :The college has a library and Information Centre which plays a vital role in achieving the cherished objectives of improving the education standard by stimulating academic interest among the student's community. The computerized library with a total area of 1000 sqm and has a collection of nearly 21749 books, 6283 titles, 814 CD-ROM’s, 105 National Journals, 81 International Journals, Internet browsing Lending, Reference and Reprographic facilities Study halls with a capacity for 177 Seats (UG Library 132 Seats, PG Library 45 Seats), It has separate reading sections to serve the undergraduate and postgraduate students.Students/Staff should scan their ID card in the E-Gate Register scanner while entering the library.The library users should possess their ID card while they are inside the library.Books will be issued only on production of a Bar-coded ID card.Use of Mobile phones is not allowed inside the library.Complete silence is to be maintained inside the library. Sports :Department of Physical Education is equipped with all indoor and outdoor facilities for the staff and students. I.T Infrastructure :Excel College Data Centre compiles all typical standards of a Corporate DATA Centre Setup like Raised Access Flooring. All the Blocks are connected in Star Topology with this DATA Centre being the central point. The Data Centre Consists of Core Switch, Router, Firewall, and Blade Server System & Common Storage System. Excel DATA Centre will serve its students to access common IT Facilities like Login Authentication, Secure Internet, Excel Knowledge Assets, Digital Repository System, Digital Syllabus Contents and more.A blade server is a stripped down server computer with a modular design optimized to minimize the use of physical space and energy. Whereas a standard rack-mount server can function with (at least) a power cord and network cable, blade servers have many components removed to save space, minimize power consumption and other considerations, while still having all the functional components to be considered a computer.DSpace is an open source repository software package typically used for creating open access repositories for scholarly and/or published digital content. While DSpace shares some feature overlap with content management systems and document management systems, the DSpace repository software serves a specific need as a digital archives system, focused on the long-term storage, access and preservation of digital content.

Transport Facility :The college provides buses for the transport of the day-scholar students and staff members. The college buses ply to several destinations cover a radius of 50 KM to the places like Erode, Chittode, Gobichettipalayam, Bhavani, Salem, Mettur, Andiyur, Sankari, Tiruchengode, Komarapalayam, Ammapettai, Edappadi etc.A nominal fee is collected towards the bus fare from the students and staff members on the basis of their boarding point. In addition to these, a large number of state transport corporation and private buses are plying in both the directions of the institutions.For the benefit of Students and Faculty members, Excel Institution's buses are being operated from the nearby places like Sankari, Salem, Omalur, Mettur, Tiruchengode, Erode, Arachaloor, Anthiyur, Thindal, Bhavani, Chennimalai, Edappadi, and Komarapalayam.
