Faculty of Law, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara began as Baroda College in 1881, and became a university in 1949. The university has received accreditation of Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. Faculty of Law MSU Vadodara offers admission in the courses of BA LLB (H), LLB, PG Diploma, LLM and Ph.D Law. The admissions in these courses depend on merit as well as applicant’s score in Entrance exam/Ph.D Entrance Test (PET), conducted by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. 

It also accepts entrance scores of various national level exams of UGC-CSIR, NET, SET, GATE, GPAT, DBT, ICMR and JRF. The college will shortlist applicants on the basis of these entrance scores as well as overall academic merit performance throughout the applicant’s education. The candidate can participate for admission in these courses by registering on the official admission portal of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. 

The institute aims to provide competent knowledge in the faculty of Law and its allied subjects. Faculty of Law MSU Vadodara also provides various infrastructural facilities such as hostel accommodation, classrooms, IT infrastructure, and other such amenities, for the benefit of college members. Aside from these facilities, the Faculty of Law MSUB also provides placement assistance through its placement cell and scholarships to eligible students of the faculty.
