The Ganapathy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology (GCCET) started in the year 2008 is located at Ramanathapuram in the state of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is also providing engineering and management courses. GCCET is one of the largest self-financing institutions, located in a 15 acre of land-enshrined area, having a strength of 322 students and 115 faculty members. The institute offers a total of 13 courses at three different levels, they major in engineering and management fields. GCCET aims at delivering quality technical education so as to produce innovative human resource.

This college possess various facilities that are useful in enhancing academic and personal bent of students. This campus is having different hostels for boys and girls with comfortable arrangements for out-station students. Aumlah of specializations in a well-stocked library also adds as a knowledge center; general and specialized laboratories for practical knowledge also fulfill the need of every different department. There is also an auditorium for functions and seminars, canteen for snacks and a health facility equipped with first aid equipment. GCCET has provided Gym for Athletics and Recreational activities and for the Students and Staff which includes different games and sports. The campus is well equipped with proper technology for IT that is the student gets the modern technology for their requirements. Further, there is a guest house for the faculty and students of the guest faculty also there is a guest house for the students’ parents and other relatives.

GCCET ensures that it has a variety of programs to teach that accommodates different careers. There are six undergraduate B.Tech programs offered by the institute with five M.Tech and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. All Bachelors’ programs are completed full time, and are aimed at equipping student with a strong subject matter knowledge in respective fields.

GCCET Admission procedure is according to the norms of AICTE, Anna University Chennai and Tamil Nanu Government rules. For B. TECH it is common counselling under TNEA or management seat. TNEA scores are used to select students to engineering college, with much credibility and integrity involved.
