Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the Gauhati University, Guwahati.
Admission Process
Admission into college is made strictly in order of merit and is governed by admission rules. Decisions of the Admission Committee regarding admission are final. All admissions are strictly on merit subject to the reservation for caste quota (SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC) as per the standing rules of the Government of Assam. An attested photocopy of the caste certificate must be attached along with the application form for admission. Any application form without an attested photocopy of the caste certificate will be considered under the general category.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into B.Com 1st Semester class, a student has to pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in Commerce, Science or Arts stream under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Gauhati University. Preference will be given to candidates having commerce in 10+2 level
