24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered State Council of Educational Research and Training, Patna, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates having at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission to D.El.Ed course.
- There will be 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for all reserved category/disabled candidates for admission.
- Urdu candidates who pass the Maulvi examination with 50% marks will be eligible for admission in D.El.Ed course.
- Candidates who have qualified in Vocational Course (10+2) or have qualified Intermediate (10+2) after Madhyama or Intermediate (10+2) after Fokania will be eligible for admission in D.El.Ed course.
- Candidates having Shastri, Polytechnic, ITI, or any other qualification will not be eligible for admission in D.El.Ed course.
- The minimum age limit of the candidate is 17 years (on the first date of the first month of the admission year) for all categories.
Admission Details
- Reservation of seats for admission will be as per the rules of the Bihar Government.
- All the seats for admission will be through the entrance examination conducted by the Bihar Board only.
