Gautam Institute of Management and Technology, Hamirpur (GIMT) is an affiliated college established in the year of 2012 in hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. This is a co-educational institution situated in a vicinity of bus stand and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). GIMT is located in a compact area of a campus of 0.528 acres and at the present time has 21 students only. Currently the institute provides only one degree programme but with one of the major focuses in management education. Having 9 members on the faculty, GIMT has a beneficial student-faculty ratio, which means every student is given the necessary attention.

Gautam Institute of Management and Technology has a good and diverse infrastructure help in student learning and development. The college library operates as an information centre and is stocked with over 15,000 titles of text books and fifty/500 reference technical journals. It is fully computerised with Troodon Software for easy management. The number one facility of the institute is the auditorium with over 750 seating capacity is fully equipped with projector facilities and sound system for seminars and workshops or for organizing college programmes. Learners can have a vast cafeteria which is not only used for preparation of snacks and beverages but also for relaxation and group work.

The institute currently offers one primary course: an MBA, or a Master of Business Administration programme. This two-years full time post graduate degree programme has an approved intake capacity of 100 and 20 seats as the institute has the capacity to deliver management education. The MBA programme at GIMT is aimed at preparing the learners with skills and knowledge in responding effectively to challenge of the current business environment.
