36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is a full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Geeta University, Panipat. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have completed: A 1-year /2- semester masters degree program after a 4-year/8- semester bachelor’s degree program or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree program after a 3-year bachelor’s degree program or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s (Hons) degree programme with Research should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale.
- Foreign/NRI Applicants: Applicants with a Maters’ degree from a foreign university must apply with an equivalent certificate of AIU along with the Online Application Form.

Admission Details
- An Entrance Test will be conducted, followed by an interview. The Entrance Test syllabus shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject-specific.
- An applicant will be shortlisted for an interview based on his/her score in the Ph.D entrance examination conducted by Geeta University. Students who have secured 50% marks in the entrance test are eligible to be called for the interview.
- The Final selection for Ph.D will be based on the performance in the Entrance Test (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage).
- The applicant seeking Ph.D entrance examination exemption is also required to fill the Ph.D exam form and appear for the interview.
