GHS Government PG College, Sujangarh Admission Process

GHS Government PG College, Sujangarh and is one of the oldest colleges in Rajasthan. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and strives for excellence in education.  The admission process at GHS Government PG College, Sujangarh is made purely on merit, and every qualified student gets the chance of pursuing higher education. The college has a fair and transparent admission policy, focusing mainly on admitting students who are duly qualified based on academic merit. Eligibility criteria for admission vary among programs. Undergraduate courses accept students who have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board. Postgraduate programs require that candidates hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.

Application Process:

1. Admissions Announced: Generally, admissions in the colleges are announced by the official websites of the colleges with local newspapers.

2. Application: Interested students should acquire and fill out the application form. This would either be available online at the college's site or at the physical college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Along with the application form, they are also to submit relevant supporting documents, which generally includes:

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

4. Application Fee: Candidates are to remit an application fee, the amount of which the college will determine.

5. Merit Lists: The college will prepare merit lists based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and also by the instructor requirements set for the course.

6. Counselling and Allotment of Seats: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a counselling session where seats will be allocated based on merit and availability.

7. Payment of Fees: Select candidates would be required to pay course fees in the stipulated time to complete the final step of their admission process.

8. Document Verification: The college conducts a thorough verification of all submitted documents before finalizing the admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts): The college imparts education in BA. Admission is based probably on the result obtained in the 12th standard examination. All stream students (Arts/Science/Commerce) who qualified the 10+2 standard are generally entitled to apply for the course.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): Students who qualify 12th standard through Commerce stream are only preferred for admission in this B.Com program; however, other streams may also check their own college-acquired conditions to be eligible for this course.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): B.Sc courses are offered in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology, by the college. Students who successfully complete their 12th standard exams with the Science stream (PCM or PCB) are eligible to apply. Admission is based on marks obtained in the relevant subjects in the 12th standard examination.

M.A (Master of Arts): GHS Government PG College offers degrees of M.A in Political Science and Hindi Literature. Eligibility conditions need to be met by candidates who have an undergraduate degree in the relevant subject or allied fields to apply. Admission may consider marks obtained in qualifying degree.

M.Com (Master of Commerce): The students have M.Com degrees in Accounts & Statistics, Business Administration, and Economic Administration & Financial Management at the college. Eligible to apply are graduates of B.Com or equivalent. The selection procedure may consider marks obtained in the bachelor's degree.

M.Sc (Master of Science): M.Sc programs include Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates with a B.Sc degree in the subject of interest or an extremely related field are eligible. Admission is most likely based on marks obtained in the relevant subjects at bachelor's level.

Faculty do not come at proper time and there is sometime teaching going on amd some times there was no teaching. The experience of education is very bad. Faculty did not focus on teaching and not good.
